അസം-മിസോറാം അതിർത്തിയിലുണ്ടായ സംഘർഷത്തിൽ ആറ് പൊലീസുകാർ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. അസം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഹിമന്ത ബിശ്വ ശർമയാണ് ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. പൊലീസുകാരുടെ മരണത്തിൽ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അനുശോചനം അറിയിച്ചു. (6 assam cops killed)

അസമിലെ ചാച്ചാർ ജില്ലയും മിസോറാമിലെ കോലാസിബ് ജില്ലയും അതിർത്തി പങ്കിടുന്ന പ്രദേശത്താണ് സംഘർഷമുണ്ടായതെന്നായിരുന്നു പുറത്തുവന്ന വിവരം. വെടിവയ്പ് നടന്നതായും സർക്കാർ വാഹനങ്ങൾ അഗ്‌നിക്കിരയാക്കിയതായും റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിർത്തി കടന്നുള്ള കൈയേറ്റം തടയാനെത്തിയ അസം സർക്കാർ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്ക് നേരെ മിസോറാമിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരുടെ ആക്രമണമുണ്ടായെന്നാണ് ഉയർന്ന ആരോപണം.
