മലപ്പുറത്ത് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു പോയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഹെലികോപ്റ്ററിൽ ആയിരം കിലോയിലധികം ഭക്ഷണ പൊതികളെത്തിച്ച് വ്യോമസേന
കനത്ത മഴയിലും ഉരുൾപൊട്ടലിലും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു പോയ മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഭക്ഷണപ്പൊതികളെത്തിച്ച് വ്യോമസേന. ആയിരം കിലോയിലധികം വരുന്ന ഭക്ഷണവസ്തുക്കളാണ് പൊതികളിലാക്കി ഹെലികോപ്റ്ററിലൂടെ എയർഡ്രോപ് ചെയ്തത്. മൂന്ന് ദിവസങ്ങളായി തുടരുന്ന കനത്ത മഴയെ തുടർന്ന് നദികളെല്ലാം കരകവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നതിനാൽ ജില്ലയിലെ പല പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും ആളുകൾ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലേക്കാണ് വ്യോമസേന ഭക്ഷണമെത്തിച്ച് നൽകിയത്.
