പിഎഫ്‌ഐ മാത്രമല്ല; ഇതിന് മുൻപ്‌ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ 55 സംഘടനകൾ നിരോധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്

പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് അഞ്ച് വർഷത്തെ നിരോധനമാണ് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. പിഎഫ്‌ഐക്കൊപ്പം എട്ട് അനുബന്ധ സംഘടനകളായ റിഹാബ് ഇന്ത്യ ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ, ക്യാമ്പസ് ഫ്രണ്ട്, ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ ഇമാംസ് കൗൺസിൽ, നാഷ്ണൽ കോൺഫിഡറേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഹ്യൂമൻ റൈറ്റഅസ് ഓർഗനൈസേഷൻ, നാഷ്ണൽ വുമൻസ് ഫ്രണ്ട്, ജൂനിയർ ഫ്രണ്ട്, എംപവർ ഇന്ത്യ ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ, റിഹാബ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ എന്നീ സംഘടനകളും നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. പിഎഫ്‌ഐക്കുള്ളത് അഞ്ച് വർഷത്തെ നിരോധനമാണെങ്കിൽ എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിരവധി സംഘടനകൾ ഇന്ത്യയിലുണ്ട്. കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയം പുറത്ത് വിടുന്ന കണക്കുകൾ പ്രകാരം 55 സംഘടനകളെയാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

അൺലോഫുൾ ആക്ടിവിറ്റീസ് പ്രിവൻഷൻ ആക്ട് 1967 പ്രകാരം നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായ ബന്ധങ്ങളുടെ പേരിൽ 13 സംഘടനകളെയാണ് നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
