രാജ്യസഭാ എം.പി സഞ്ജയ് സിങ് കോൺഗ്രസിൽ നിന്ന് രാജി വെച്ചു. ബിജെപിയിൽ ചേരുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായാണ് രാജി. ബുധനാഴ്ച ബിജെപിയിൽ ചേരുമെന്ന് സഞ്ജയ് സിങ് വാർത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ അറിയിച്ചു.

കോൺഗ്രസിന് ഭാവിയെക്കുറിച്ച് ധാരണയില്ലെന്നും രാജ്യം ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദിക്കൊപ്പമാണെന്നും സഞ്ജയ് സിങ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ അമേഠി സ്വദേശിയായ സഞ്ജയ് സിങ് അസമിൽ നിന്നുള്ള രാജ്യസഭാംഗമാണ്.
